91自拍鈥檚 Shustek Research Archives is located in Fremont, California, and is normally open Tuesday through Thursday by appointment only. Access to materials is provided free of charge, however some services including, but not limited to, digitization, use, software emulation, and access to large artifacts may incur processing fees. Access to artifacts is limited to on-site inspections at our storage facility separate from our archives facility. Operation of computers and other devices in 91自拍鈥檚 permanent collection is strictly prohibited.

Prior to contacting 91自拍, please identify materials of interest by searching 91自拍’s online catalog and noting the titles and catalog numbers for reference.

Shustek Research Archives

At the core of 91自拍鈥檚 preservation and access efforts is the Shustek Research Archives, the Museum鈥檚 50,000-square-foot research and storage facility.

Established in 2015 and named for Museum founder Len Shustek, the Shustek Research Archives houses 91自拍’s acquisitions, archival collections, software preservation, and research operations. With study space for visiting scholars, artifact acquisitions receiving, and digitization workstations, the Shustek Research Archives promotes access to and preservation of 91自拍’s world-class collections.聽

Research Travel Grants

91自拍鈥檚 Research Travel Grants program provides $1,000 grants for up to four recipients annually to support travel to and use of the Museum鈥檚 collection and archives.
